Before that, he served as house photographer for the Austin Opera House. Scott has been the official photographer of Austin City Limits since 1979. Other notable greats that line the wall in W Austin’s guest rooms collection include Elvis Costello, Mick Jagger, Waylon Jennings, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, James Brown, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, plus many more from the 70s and early 80s. Whether it’s Willie Nelson running in a race, Jimmy Buffet drinking a beer or Merle Haggard performing at Willie’s Fourth of July Picnic, Scott was there to capture all the remarkable (and sometimes emotional) moments that made these famous musicians who they are today.
